This VW Type 3 Variant S was built in 1964 with 1500ccm engine and 53 hp.
The previous (and only) owner bought the car in 1964 and drove it until 2000. Comes with all the documents about the purchase at that time. The original colour was white, but was repainted in 1988 with "Glasurit" in yellow and metallic green. The car has covered 31.600 km since the engine overhaul.
The car comes after a complete service. The interior has been cleaned, new quality carpets fitted and the seats reupholstered in cognac brown.
A new dashboard has been fitted, the heater has been repaired and some other details such as door and window seals and PopOut window seals have been redone.
The engine has been completely serviced, new distributor cap & distributor fingers,breakers,spark plugs, ignition wires, belt, starter, battery, ignition coil, exhaust, carburettor,all intake and exhaust gaskets changed etc. Also new tie rod ends (inner and outer) and brake lines installed. The original master cylinder and wheel brake cylinders have been restored to factory condition. New clutch. All power lines & contacts have been inspected.
The car is in 95% original condition with the exception of the seat upholstery, dashboard and a few minor details such as a new aftermarket exhaust. The car runs with an original 6V system. Beautiful and very pleasant to drive.
