TOP SALES OF THE WEEK 31/2020

Also the top deals of the last week bring three cars that have something in common. All of them are Italian cars from the middle of the 60’s and all of them were sold in Europe, one in Switzerland, one in Italy and one in Germany. But the cars are very different.

1. TOP SALE OF THE WEEK – Ferrari 275 GTB Alloy (1966)

The fall in Ferrari prices continues with our top pick of the last week. One of only about 80 alloy examples of the gorgeous 275 GTB was sold only for 1.430.000 EUR including premium in the European online only sale by RM Sotheby’s on the 21st of July. Although the example had a correct, but restamped engine, the original engine was also located for the sale. And so the final for an alloy 275 GTB is a real bargain not seen for this model at least since 2012! (auction link)

2. TOP SALE OF THE WEEK – Fiat 600 D Zagato Elaborazione (1965)

Our second pick goes to the other end of the Italian production of the 60’s, to the Fiat 600. But this example from 1965 is a special one. It is a directly sold and modified car by Zagato. The modifications included a tuned engine by Stanguellini, a Nardi steering wheel, Borrani alloy wheels, special upholstery and a two-tone paint. For such a rare car in perfect condition is the final price of just 18.000 EUR an extraordinary price to value. (auction link)
